Shortest Covered Bridge in Georgia

Some people love finding oversize roadside attractions when they are out on road trips. But other times, it’s the novelty of finding the shortest, smallest, or most miniature places to stop and take pictures. If you are in northern Georgia, right outside Helen, you can walk across the shortest covered bridge in the whole state.

Shortest Covered Bridge in Georgia

The Stovall Mill Covered Bridge is the smallest covered bridge in Georgia. Built in 1895, it is one-lane wide, 33 feet long, and made of wood. It spans Chickamauga Creek in White County and is located near State Route 255.

The Stovall Mill Covered Bridge is a popular place for picnics as well as a place for locals and tourists to enjoy playing in the water down below the bridge.

Located just a few miles from the heart of Helen, Georgia, this covered bridge is a destination you don’t want to miss.
