Get Your Licks On Route 66: Cross-Country Pet Adoption Tour

FIDO Friendly Magazine is set to kick off its 16th Annual Cross-Country Pet Adoption Tour, Get Your Licks on Route 66®. This heartwarming journey, led by Editor and Publisher Susan Sims, takes place from August 31^st through September 29^th as the team travels from Los Angeles to Chicago along America’s iconic Route 66, stopping at shelters to support adoption events and raise funds for animals in need.

A Mission of Love and Hope

Over the past 15 years, FIDO Friendly’s tour has made a tremendous impact, helping over 19,000 pets find their forever homes. In 2023 alone, more than 1,100 pets were placed into loving families through this effort. The 2024 tour aims to continue this legacy, saving lives one shelter at a time.

How It Works

At each tour stop, attendees can participate in a fun and rewarding experience with FIDO Friendly’s giant spinning wheel, which is filled with prizes from generous sponsors. A donation allows participants to win fabulous prizes, with all proceeds benefiting the shelters visited along the route.
