New York City Adventures
Have you visited New York City? Thirteen years ago, my husband and I took a road trip and hit many of the main cities in the northeast. This was back in the days when you could still drive through Times Square. We had quite the fun experience driving beside the New York City natives. My kids are now old enough that we are ready to go touring in New York so they can experience the Empire State Building and see the Statue of Liberty. Maybe next summer we’ll have the chance to take them! A few weeks ago another blogger got to take a college trip and had some great New York City Adventures.
New York City Adventures
A couple weeks ago, I got the chance to travel to New York City and explore the city with my wonderful school friends. The first part of the trip was the torturous ten hour bus ride. Keep in mind that this bus was filled with other high school/college students busy yelling, talking, and playing their obnoxious music full blast {not me, of course}. So, my friends and I decided to stay the night before the trip together and stay up all night. This way, we could sleep the whole way there. This worked out pretty well and I slept probably eight out of the nine hours to New York City.

When is the last time you visited New York City? What’s your favorite place to visit? Got any great tips? I’d love to hear!
Thanks for including this. Amber will love that she and her friends are on your site. 🙂
I have always wanted to go to New York. My friend went there for the 4th of July to watch the fireworks and she said it was awesome!!
I have never been to NYC and I hope to someday visit.
Thanks for sharing ~ I live on Long Island and rarely go, BUT i should! There is nothing quite like NYC!
I LOVE NYC! Im glad you enjoyed your trip, I am from NJ so I always had fun taking the train there. Its never a dull moment in the city thats for sure!
I live rather close to New York and I have never been anywhere in New York. I live in the mountains of PA.. I suppose its because I am not very adventurous but my sister would probably say its because I am too cheap. I love hearing all your adventures because one of them may make me get up and visit it someday. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
More power to her to be able to sleep on a bus of noisy kids. I checked out her article and it looks like they all had a blast.
The last time I visited New York City was 2011. There’s so much to do and see there – I’d love to go again!
I have never visited New York City…been to Buffalo up around the Niagra area, though. It just doesn’t “pull” me. I think it’s because I am a native Chicagoan.
