One year we took a Midwest Road trip and include the Jelly Belly Warehouse tour in Pleasant Prairie!

Tours of the Jelly Belly Warehouse Center are free and last about 45 minutes. When you arrive, you will be given a paper hat to wear since this tour does take you through the warehouse where food products are packaged.

You walk out to a small train where you are driven around the perimeter of the warehouse and shown short video clips of how Jelly Bellies are made.

Did you know that President Ronald Reagan was a fan of licorice jelly bellies? The Jelly Belly Visitor Center is working on a new exhibit that will have a featured exhibit sharing how jelly bellies became the national favorite in 1980 because of President Reagan!

When the tour is over, you will have the opportunity to buy jelly bellies of every imaginable flavor! The prices are good and the options unlimited. You can even taste samples if you are on the fence about which ones to buy!

Buy Belly Flops

One of our favorite things in the gift shop was the chance to buy big bags of Belly Flops! Belly Flops are the jelly bellies that don’t meet the size standards for official Jelly Bellies. They taste exactly the same so they make a great purchase!

One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to talk with one of the employees. Keanna represented the Jelly Belly Visitor Center well! She took the time to talk to us and find out about our travel adventures. She even made sure we knew about some of the specials in the gift shop. And of course, she offered us samples of the fudge that is available for purchase at the counter.
