Elmwood Park Zoo

When you go on vacation, you tend to go to tourist locations: historical sites, aquariums, museums, zoos, and adventure excursions. However, you don’t need to be on vacation to do these things. Have you visited these “tourist” locations in your own backyard? You should!

Elmwood Park Zoo

I went went with my husband, sister and niece to visit the Elmwood Park Zoo located in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The Elmwood Park Zoo was founded in 1924 and currently welcomes over 130,000 visitors annually.

  2. I’m “guilty” on this one. I grew up next door to Morristown and have never been to this zoo. To be honest, I’ve never heard of it. Funny how we so often don’t go see the attractions in our own backyard! How fun to have the birds so close like that:)
