Visiting Dole Plantation

Originally operated as a fruit stand beginning in 1950, Dole Plantation opened to the public as Hawaii’s “Pineapple Experience” in 1989. Today, Dole Plantation is one of Oahu’s most popular visitor attractions and welcomes more than one million visitors a year.

Tour the garden:

There is a fairly large garden of pineapples and amazing flowers that is free to walk through and enjoy.

Take your time and enjoy the different varieties of pineapples.

Buy the famous Dole Whip

One of the most famous reasons to visit the Dole Plantation is the classic Dole Whip. I am typically an all-chocolate all the time person but when you visit the Dole Plantation, you have to try the pineapple ice cream. Absolutely worth it!

Visit the souvenir store and look at all the pineapple-themed decor. You can find stuffed pineapples, t-shirts, pillows, stress balls, ornaments, and anything else you can imagine.
