5 Things to know about Mall of America
Have you ever visited the of America in Bloomington, Minnesota? I’ve been to Minneapolis several times and had the chance to spend some time at the Mall. For those of you have never been, I am giving you a quick overview and a few hints for your visit. Visiting the largest mall in America is a daunting experience you quickly find that it’s easy to get turned around. But knowing a few things about the Mall of America will help make your experience a little easier.

5 Things to know about Mall of America
It’s BIG!
According to Wikipedia, the Mall of America is the largest mall in the United States.
There are Four (4) main levels to the Mall, but unlike many malls, the Mall of America is built in a loose circle. If you start on one level and just start walking, you will eventually come back to the same place you started. Then you can go to another level and start another loop.
Shop and Walk with Mayo Mile
While I was staying at the Radisson Blu attached to the Mall of America, I did manage to get quite a bit of walking steps in. You can walk the levels on your own or follow the signs. The Mayo Clinic Mile includes one mile, 5K and 10K walking paths inside Mall of America.® Follow the signage throughout the Mall and walk your way to a healthier you!
There are 3 Starbucks (and everything else, too)
If you are new to the Mall of America, it is easy to get turned around. But don’t make the mistake I made. You can’t base your directions on just one store. Many stores like Starbucks, American Eagle, and Claire’s have multiple stores in the Mall. And don’t even think about basing your directions on Caribou’s Coffee – there are at least 5 of them!
