Escape To The Islands Of Puerto Rico

Culebra Puerto Rico on a budget

Ah, Puerto Rico. Right now in North Carolina, we have a big snow system coming in. They are calling for maybe 9+ inches of snow or some craziness like that. I sure would love to get away to Puerto Rico right now. Maybe you can’t leave for Puerto Rico right now, either, but a couple of bloggers are letting us live vicariously through their Culebra Puerto Rico and San Juan Puerto Rican adventures!

Culebra Puerto Rico – On A Budget

Laurel from Capturing La Vita recently visited Culebra Puerto Rico…

Culebra is a grand 11 square miles! It is inhabited by a small Spanish and English speaking community, it serves as a haven for American expats, and is outlined by some of the most natural, pristine beaches and crystal clear water you will ever see.

Laurel shares some great tips on how you can enjoy Culebra Puerto Rico on a budget. I especially enjoyed her tips on how to find cheap transportation including riding the ferry. She also has a great list of things to do and the best beaches to visit while on the island. She also has another post about Culebra that features some very stunning photography that will make you long for sunshine and sandy beaches.

Steal Away To Sunny San Juan

Zipporah at Champagne Living recently visited San Juan…

There’s so much to do on this little island – sun, sand, glorious hotels, and amazing food…Take a slow stroll, pop in to the little restaurants, shop a bit, soak in the European flavor and enjoy.

Zipporah shares great tips about what to see and do in San Juan, Puerto Rico besides the traditional beach roaming. She shares about great places to stay that take that have the feel of the Rat Pack era {totally somewhere I would like to visit}. She also shared where the best nightlife is and all about the local cuisine. Anyone up for a culinary tour? Yum.

Be sure to check out the rest of Zipporah’s San Juan review.
