Ruggles Mine: Grafton, New Hampshire
Ruggles Mine is a former mica mine turned tourist attraction located in Grafton, New Hampshire. The mine has been active since the early 1800’s. Ruggles Mine has changed hands several times over the years and in the early 1960’s, the mine was turned into a tourist attraction where visitors can mine minerals and tour the massive rooms and archways carved out by the miners who came before them.
Update 2017: Ruggles Mine is currently non-operational and not open to the public.
