My family loves going to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We have been there several times and always find something fun, new and interesting to do. Recently, my husband and I got to go to Pigeon Forge by ourselves! We had never been on a vacation alone, not even a honeymoon *gasp* so we especially enjoyed this trip. One of the places we were sure to visit was Magiquest and Pirate Black Light Golf, all located in the same building.

Magiquest: Pigeon Forge, TN

At Magiquest, you travel back in time, to the land of dragons, fairies and wizards. There you get to attempt to become a grand wizard yourself. You get a wand and then you go on a whole list of adventures to try to prove your wizardry skills. With each task you complete, you get one step closer to obtaining your goal of becoming a grand wizard. Be prepared to walk, so bring comfortable shoes.

We have also visited lots of other very cool places in Pigeon Forge. So, if you are planning a trip to Pigeon Forge, TN in the near future, we recommend checking out these other great attractions, as well.

Smoky Mountain Opry – Great for music lovers and those who like to relax and enjoy a good show.

Hatfields and McCoys Dinner Show – Great for those that love humor, a great show, tasty dinner and a bit of a history lesson, all in one.

Titanic Museum – This is a newer attraction, so if you have not been to Pigeon Forge recently, you definitely want to check this out. Much of the items included in the exhibit are actual items from the Titanic.

Hollywood Wax Museum – Always wanted to meet a star that you just haven’t been able to? This exhibit is really fun for those that love pop culture and want to “pose” with their favorite stars for picture ops!

Don’t know where to stay? Might we recommend Old Mill Lodging Cottages? They offer all of the amenities of home and are conveniently located close to the main strip in Pigeon Forge, TN.

    1. I don’t think so. This Titanic exhibit is a permanent structure as far as I know. The same owner also has one in Branson, Missouri, I believe.

    1. What fun! I think that would be really awesome to have a destination wedding like that. Did you get married in one of their chapels?

  6. We feel so fortunate to live just a little over an hour from Pigeon Forge. We always say it’s like Myrtle Beach but without the beach. There is so much to do and see. Our boys love Dollywood, of course, and our older son is just about mature enough for other places such as the Titanic Museum. Black light golf looks like a lot of fun. I think the hubs would like it the most!

    1. That is the same thing that my husband and I say. They are virtually the same {attractions, etc} except for the backdrop. Did you know that Pigeon Forge is now also getting a Margaritaville restaurant and hotel? I can’t remember the name of the place, but we saw it last time we were there. I think it opens this spring.

  7. This is super cool! I love mini golf and so does my husband! We have something sort of similar called Monster Golf! I know my kids are so scared of it at their young ages but when they get older they will like it!
