Do you get fascinated by old signs? We love to watch American Pickers where Frank and Mike go out looking for vintage pieces of American history. Usually they end up finding at least one amazing sign on each episode. Terri from Travel 50 States With Kids recently visited the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. What an amazing place full of history and unique things to see and learn.

One of the highlights of a visit to the American Sign Museum is the Main Street exhibit that simulates a street in the center of a small town. Storefronts were recreated with amazing attention to detail and additional signs are displayed in the windows. Each section represents a different era. The effect is stunning.

Have you visited the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati? What would fascinate you the most about the history of signs in America?

I love unusual museums and I love neon, so this museum has gone to the top of my list when I'm next in Cincinnati. Thanks for sharing.
